Christmas morning the kids come get us out of bed at about 9 or so to open presents- yeah I know you are all jealous. I had a breakfast casserole ready to go in the oven so the smell could make us all salivate while we open presents. I feel like a big part of the of Christmas is opening presents, and I like to wrap presents, so we wrap things in lots of boxes that other folks might all but in one box. It makes for an impressive display under the tree and the kids have lots to open and open they did! As the paper and ribbon flies in all directions I love seeing the joy on their faces as they see the cool things they got. Yeah for Christmas morning.
Wow mommy! There are a lot of presents!
Abbi is still waking up.
Passing out the presents.
We start opening. Abbi is always so neat. She stacks all of her gifts in a pile after she open them.
Abbi this is for you!
Dinosaurs! Caelun liked some of his presents so much he just wanted to play with them and not open any more presents.
Yeah for books. Our kids always get books- go figure.
Clint got some new clothes.
Caelun got knights and horses.
I got a new crock pot! Yeah! I know that doesn't seem exciting to most folks but I love my crock pots.
The big present of the year- a Wii!
Caelun has no idea what it is but it it looks cool.
Abbi got a wool trench coat.
We all got games for the Wii.
Woo hoo! Clint got a new lap top.
Abbi got Super Mario Brothers for the Wii.
Now we play with our new toys for awhile. Caelun is transfixed watching Abbi play the Wii. I think he has almost forgot he has a magna doodle in his hands.
After we eat – it is round 2 with the stockings.
I got perfume- Happy by Clinique
Abbi got Pringles!
Caelun got more dinosaurs!
Make up and nail polish in lots of fun colors.
Both Clint and I got “teacher stuff”- pens, sticky notes ect..
Clint and I also both got flashlights. Caelun thought that was particularly cool.
Time to play with all of our cool new stuff.
I was a grand morning and afternoon.Don’t think Clint was remiss in the present department I just take more of the pictures so they don’t necessarily make it on camera but I got an iPod – generation 3, a new battery for my lap top, a nifty plug in contraption to chill an individual bottle of wine to a set temperature, and another CMU sweat shirt among other things so I am completely spoiled as well. Yeah Santa! We hope your holidays were filled with abundance as well and I hope some of our joy slops right off this blog and into your day. We can all use more joy.

You certainly got some great presents there, I'm more convinced than ever that some of them were meant for me as I'm sure I asked for an Ipod. We make our presents last all day too.
I may have ;-)I am not sure which side of the pond Santa hits first. I will look for tags with your name on them. Maybe some of Caelun's dinosaurs or playdoh belong to you as well ;-)
Oh yes for sure the playdoh was mine!
