We have a tradition at out house that we each get to open one present on Christmas Eve and the present is new jammies. Clint grew up with a tradition of opening one small present – what they called a $10 present on Christmas Eve and I grew up going to a big family party on my mom’s side where Santa would come and bring us all a small present so this is our version of the Christmas Eve present. This also ensures there aren’t any scary pajama pictures- coffee/juice stains or holes in places that make pictures less than family rated. We may all have bed-head and pillow creases on our faces but at lest the jammies will be presentable. This year we did a theme with the pajamas – “it’s all about the alma matter- be true to your school” Now the 3 year old doesn’t have a school yet but he will and we bought them big.
Caelun went first.
Yeah for the Red Hawks. I know the Spiderman slippers aren’t Cedar Sprigs affiliated but what can I say I couldn't find Red Hawk slippers.
Abbi is next.
Fuzzy socks- I l know they don’t have Red Hawks either.
The sweat shirt does.
December in Michigan means jammies need to be all about the warm and fuzzy. Miss Kitty makes her own warm and fuzzy. It does look like she would like to share with Abbi.
Clint’s up- Go Green Go White! The MSU Spartans were pretty good at American foot ball this year.
Missy Kitty get ready to go to school if you want jammies- just sayin’
My turn.
I got fuzzy socks too.
Fire up Chips! Go CMU!
Yeah for the jammies! We are all now ready for bed and the visit by the big guy in Red!
