Floyd Conley Turns 60

In March of 2011 Clint’s dad turned 60. What do you get for some one turning 60? How about money to burn? We made a money ‘cake’ of 60  one dollar bills. We had a great time seeing lots of family and I think Floyds got a kick out of the ‘cake’. I know we had fun assembling it. This post is brought to you by the letter ‘C’- C- is for Conely and C- is for Cake!

At the party Abbi chats with Grandma Hall or as we call her Florence The Great.  Caelun is entranced by the fish.

Lot’s of friends and family shoed up to help Floyd celebrate.

Mary Brings Floyd his cake.

Yum cake!

Grandma Mary had Caelun all set up- bring on the cake! Really forks are overrated.

Florence The Great is so much neater at eating her cake- go figure (wink)

Look – Grandma Mary isn’t messy either- hmmm. Caelun still prefers his fingers.

After cake it is time for snuggles.

It was great to see Clint’s brother Chris, his wife Missy and their kids Bree and Cody- yea for more Conleys!

Uncle Chris gives snuggles.

Yeah for Conelys, Cake, and Grandpa Conely turning 60!

Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Conley.

Our first family Christmas was with Clint’s dad and step-mom. His step mom Mary is big on Christmas and really does up the decorations and Christmas spirit. It was a wonderful day with family- yeah Grandma Mary for making Christmas so “Christmasey”

Grandma Mary has so many cool things that move and make music. Such an intense little face.

Bree and Missy look through a box of jewelry for some keep sakes of Great Grandma Emma Jane- who passed away about two and a half years ago. Floyd watches the chaos from his chair.

Cody is in the Christmas Spirit.

Clint and Missy relax by the tree.

Time for presents.

Caelun gets some cars and a case for them.

Bree gets a Barbie

Cody gets an NFL football and jersey.

Abbi gets cool new shoes.

Aunt Missy plays with Caelun and his cars.

We open our stockings and Clint and Chris read a neat article published about Uncle Jake in HI.

We took a break to eat but now it is time for more presents.

Chaos!!!! Caelun covers his ears.

Abbi gets a cool shirt and funky socks.

Florence the Great joins in.

Whew! Gosh Grandma Mary that was fun!

Grandma shows Cae-Cae the cool ornaments that make music and move.

Caelun got soap to draw on yourself in the bath tub. Grandma Mary we thought you might like to see the result.

Abbi thought it was fun too.
