When we put the addition on out house and took the roof off to do it we had a huge storm. Our bathroom ceiling was a casualty of the water pouring in and with so many other fires burning bright we just haven’t gotten to fixing it- well until now. We decided as long as the ceiling was open we would install a heat light for extra comfort on those cold January mornings. And since we had to re-drywall the ceiling we might as well pick a new color and paint while we were at it. I am very pleased with the results.

The new color is called “roaming pony” – it is kind of a purple gray. When we were picking colors Clint picked this one up, read the name, turned to me, and said “okay – roaming pony??? they are just making stuff up” We are really happy with it but it doesn’t photograph very well. Because we only have one bathroom we were in a bit of a rush to have it functional. To speed the process up I painted the ceiling and rather than waiting for it to dry and edging the wall I just left a gap and went right to the wall color. I then went back to the ceiling with out waiting for the wall to dry. I went back and did the trim and edging after everyone got a shower the next day.
With out the edging done.
Trying to get a read of the true color – it is more purple than it shows here.

A picture of me – taking a picture.
This is closer to the color.
With the edging complete.
Ta Da!!! Our re-done bathroom in the shade of roaming pony.
