Football game half time #4 came and the band continued to improve. Their formations became cleaner and their sound more melodious. The flags became more synchronized. It was great to see them becoming more of a coordinated unit. The theme this year- I don’t think I have reported- was Celtic Celebration and the music was Irish. The Conley family- Clint’s ancestors being among the folk who immigrated here do to the severe lack of a potato were very much Irish and it was fun to see this represented. The music is also complex enough and had enough variation in tempo to keep one from getting tired of the repeat performances. YEAH for the Celtic Celebration and YEAH for the band.
