Caelun’s half birthday is 3 days after Christmas. Now one would think a 3 1/2 year old would be at least beginning to be potty trained. He just hasn’t been interested. I know that all kids develop at different rates and boys especially take longer to get the hang of this. I also know that everyone says- no kid starts kindergarten not potty trained but I am currently just hoping we get this down before he leaves for college. I am also thinking dating might be a challenge if you are still wearing diapers- just sayin’ He got a potty chair that he doesn’t seem to want to use. Any interest we have had has been in the big person’s potty so we got a special seat for little tushes to go on the big potty and this might be just the ticket. He at least seems curious. Here is hoping.

He puts the new seat in place.
Test run with reading material even. I am not sure what it means when your kid can read 3 letter words but isn’t potty trained.
Well he at least likes the reading part.
