We decided the little person needed a swing set/ play fort. I tried to find one already built and buy it off of craigslist- no luck. We went to the local home improvement stores and we saw some amazing kits but they were very pricey. We went on line and found plans – very detailed, designed by a retired shop teacher of course, and for a small fee downloaded the the blue prints. We took our materials list back to the home improvement store and with a truck load of materials later we were ready to start building.
Bring on the lumber
We cleared the space where the sand box was.
Our super helper is ready to measure.
Now for the power tools- don’t worry the battery pack isn’t in it.
We assembled the sides on the ground and then lifted them into place.
Our wonderful neighbors came to help.
1..2..3.. push!
