“One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.” Dale Carnegie
Not me! I am ALL ABOUT the roses blooming outside my own window. They are all MI winter hardy with no covering or help. They come up every spring and like a present just burst in to bloom. Not only do they hold their own over winter every year, they seem to grow larger with more effusive blooms. Come take stroll and we will definitely stop to smell the roses.
Above is Quadra- a Canadian Explorer rose
Below in the foreground is a Morden Fire Glow
This is an Armide- a really old rose. Tt smells exactly like you imagine a rose should smell.
This is a Buck Rose- Prairie Harvest.
Our William Baffin – another Canadian Explorer is almost exploding with blooms.
Caelun wants to smell the roses too.
The William Baffin on either side of the arbor.
Our neighbor brought the bench over so she could sit by the roses. It is big enough for 2 feel free to have a seat.
Hope you enjoyed the stroll. Remember to stop and smell the roses.

Hi Pam, lucky you to have such lovely roses every spring! I have quite a lot of small plants in my balcony but there's no room for roses. I can just about smell your roses just looking at your pics!
Hope you are all doing fine. A happy day to you Pam!
