Our annual egg hunt was HUGE this year. We had 13 kids hunting and 4 big kids helping to hide. I didn’t do a final head count but I think we were over 30 people. My good friend and neighbor Stacey broke her leg the week before, but came any way in a wheel chair. The weather cooperated for the most part. It was a little chilly and a little windy but the rain held off and there was no snow on the ground. Jerry and Amy Hall- our wonderful next door neighbors helped fill the eggs and let all of the stuff for the egg hunt live at their house for a week – to keep the kids out of it. We filled 67 plastic eggs for each kid x the 12 bigger kids. I only did 15 eggs for Caelun. It was A LOT of eggs. We bought some really cool kites- one that looked like a pirate ship and flew them after the cook out. It was a truly wonderful day- again there are lots of pictures.
Levi, Abbi, and Renee get ready to leave for Grandpa Medford’s.
Natasha is also ready to head out to hide eggs
My dad bought Caelun a Radio Flyer wagon for his birthday and thinking it would be useful for the egg hunt gave it to him a week early. He also made the colorful blocks on the floor which have been a big hit.
