Caelun does not especially like television. He used to love some PBS shows, mainly Sesame Street, Word World, Dinosaur Train, and Blues Clues with an occasional viewing of Super Why but starting last spring he wanted nothing more to do with the television. “TB OFF! TB OFF! NO TB!” For the most part I am sympathetic but it would be nice to be able turn the TV on and not have a full on melt down so we started with movies of books he loves like Horton Hears A Who and Cat IN The Hat. It worked- at least as much as we needed it to in that some one can turn on the TV with out nuclear fusion occurring and he actually likes The Science Channel and Animal Planet now and asks for them but in the beginning he was not sure. I don’t blame him the books are always better than the movie, I have to admit, even when it is Dr. Seuss.
