I had no idea on this November day that we wouldn’t get much more snow than this over the course of the entire winter. Of cities with a population of 50,000 or more Grand Rapids is #16 of the 101 places with the highest average snowfall with just under 75 inches a winter. What we got this past winter was the 4th warmest on record which translated to lots of rain. That’s okay after years of digging out of blizzard after blizzard I can say this you don’t have to shovel rain. We didn’t have to shovel this either it melted a with in a few hours of it falling but it was pretty while it lasted.
