The West Ottawa/ Holland Forensics Invitational – also referred to as the Wo/Ho is always a great time for our team – inspite of the fact it is WAY before the tulips start to bloom. This year was no exception with both Andy and Talya breaking to final round in their respective categories, and a 3rd place finish for sweeps which includes Caden, Jen, and Rachel. Trophies were handed out by a person in a gorilla suit and the trophies themselves are especially fun. To save money they are donated random leftovers that other folks didn’t pick up. There are chickens, bowling pins, pigs, soccer players, and crosses among other things. Make sure to click on the pictures to get a close up. All in all it was a great day and I was really proud of all the kids.

Later we all went out to eat at Noodles And Company and a former student, Jessica home on break from college, met us as a surprise for me arranged by the kids. Yeah for forensics!
