Abbi had her spring break the week before ours. She had to wait for her friends to be out of school on Thursday. Thursday night she had Emily and Cait spend the night and then we took them shopping at the big mall in Grandville. Abby has been doing extra work to earn money for a pair of black Converse tennis shoes, from HOT TOPIC and earrings from Claire's. She had to roll up some quarters but she got there. We have endless jobs for her to do but we take out "Abbi Security" We figure if you work a regular job the government takes out SS, FICA, and income taxes. Since she doesn't have to pay any of that we take half and put it in the bank for college- thus "Abbi Security" We have also told her anything she saves or earns in scholarships we will match so we are also her 401K. I didn't get a picture of the shoes I will have to do that and post them. Trust me you haven't lived until you have taken three 'tween girls and a baby to the mall on the first day of spring break.
