The Fourth of July

Independence Day in our neck of the woods is usually a low key affair. We generally have recently gotten home from vacation and don’t feel like much of a big to-do. Luckily for us the town right next door- Sand Lake – holds their town festival complete with fireworks over the fourth of July. We spent at the day lounging in the pool and then drove the 3 minutes over at dusk. Caelun is not thrilled with fireworks. The idea of giant explosions going off over his head some how does not appeal. I keep hoping that he will out grow this fear but for now Clint pushes him around in the stroller and lets me attempt to take pictures. I am finally starting to get the hang of taking pictures of fireworks. At any rate we hope you had a festive 4th however you chose to celebrate- sit back and enjoy the fireworks.
