We have wild black raspberries that grow along the White Pine Trail – a liner park in the “rails to trails” program less than a block from our house. We got back from vacation in late June just in time to pick them to make jam. Well lots of them get eaten right off the bush as well. We load the stroller up with baskets and buckets and pick and eat until we can’t pick and/or eat any more. I canned something like 25 pints of jam so you get the idea. Caelun LOVES to pick and eat them. He also likes to smush them. He and the stroller both needed a bath when we were done. Come along but careful not to get to close unless you want to be covered in raspberries.
