Forensics competition in our neck of the woods has a tournament for all the schools in Ottawa and Kent counties or as we all refer to it the OK League. This year it was held at Holland HS where we had been the weekend before for their invitational. This tournament wasn’t scheduled when we set up our season schedule so it was kind of a last minute add thus I only had 3 forensicatiors rather then my usual 4 or 5. The exciting part is Andy won- yes 1st place – for his category of extemp. This was also the first time our dear Rachel broke to finals and Caden a first year forensicator continued to improve. I am really proud of the kids this was for Andy his 5th Sat. in row competing. That is a lot of speeches.
