A few days after we got our tree set up we went to my folks house to help them set up theirs. Clint had a late meeting at school so I took the kids. Dad had already bought the tree and even had it in the house and set up on the tree stand- a pretty good feat for some one about to turn 84. This just left the decorating for the kids and I. Well it also left some playing and some eating chocolate.
First we get the tree set up.
Next come the lights. These are some LED lights my dad bought to try this year.
Yeah the tree is lit!
Time for ornamanets.
Of course Cae-Cae lines them up- next to Abbi’s cell phone.
Abbi is less than sure about her brother’s tree decorating skills.
She is reassured with some of Grandpa’s chocolate.
Did I mention playing? Cae thought Grandpa’s magnifying glass was really funny.
Okay Grandpa time of the tree top- we are all to short.
Yeah Grandpa!
Grandpa are you done with the step ladder? Maybe I can try?
Now for a music lesson before we go.
