Every December we take a trip to a local Christmas tree farm- there are at least 3 with in a 5 mile radius of our house- to choose and cut a Christmas tree. This year the quantity of snow added some new adventure. We almost got stuck on our way out but there were lots of nice folks to help push. Generally people who have chosen to spend some time out cutting a tree seem to be friendly and in good spirits. A couple of good shoves and we we on our way with tree in tow. Come take a walk through the evergreens – you don’t even need to have your toes get cold.
What do you think of this one- too big?
Okay- let’s look some more.
How about this one?
Too small? Okay.
Dad found one … Guess I better go help.
Okay dad- I’ll ride on the sled- can you get the tree?
Time to load it up.
Thanks for the help dad.
