We headed out to Florida for spring break. We usually go during mid-winter break and go to my uncles in Key West but they shortened our mid-minter break to just a few days and then the uncles sold their house so new plans needed to be made. Mom-inlaw Rita gave us plane tickets for a Christmas present so we decided on spring break. Abbi’s break and ours didn’t line up. We suggested taking some personal days on our end and then she missing some school on the other but she was worried about getting behind. Grandma offered to take her on a separate trip to a concert and that to a middle schooler seemed like a good exchange. The next question was where to go. Our long time friends from college – Joel and Melissa Turmo- recently moved to Boca Raton and suggested we come for a visit. We flew into Orlando and saw some sights along the way. I was worried about Caelun flying – that being strapped down and all -but he was wonderful. I will do the trip in several installments.
