Debate State Finals

Tubs, Trophies, and Toddlers

Debate state finals was held in Auburn Hills the first weekend of February. The kids broke to semi-final round putting them in the top 4 teams in the state.  They dropped on a 2 to 1 decision to South Lyon- who went on to win the championship.  The exciting part is these kids are juniors so we get another crack at it next year and the kids they dropped to are all seniors- but that is for next season.  Clint and Caelun came along to hang out and share in the fun.  For Cae this means hanging out with the big kids and swimming in the hotel pool.  Abbi went on a ski weekend with her friend Perry so we didn’t have her along.

Talya’s friend Luke from Dexter  got eliminated in the opposite semi- this is them with their matching trophies.
