As a teacher, a parent, and a general observer of human behavior I have come to the conclusion that there are a variety of outlooks or in other words brain wiring that vary from person to person. We all make choices about things that interest us but some of it is just hard wired. It is how we are made. In my family there seems to be a whole lot of teachers, medical personnel (doctors, nurses, ect…), and engineers. My husband was in the medical field- pharmacy tech./med. tech. before becoming a teacher. Guess birds of a feather. My son presents with lots of those linear engineer brain tendencies. Everything must be counted and lined up. Everything must be tested and categorized. Blessing be for Legos! It is so much fun to watch those wheels turn.
