We wanted to drive over for Stephanie and Wilson’s open house and knowing that the wild man has about a 3 hour limit in the car we decided to get a hotel and and make a mini vacation out of it hitting the IKEA in Canton and the Ann Arbor botanic gardens.
Bright eyed and bushy tailed at the hotel in the morning ready to run.
The entrance to the children’s garden.
Headed through a bit of a maze. We are very spoiled I learned, by our amazing children’s garden at Fred Meijer in Grand Rapids. The children's’ garden here was okay but honestly a bit of a let down from what we are used to.
There are 2 sets of pictures integrated into this post. Clint was awarded money for his classroom from a prize that a student of his won and the prize went to the ‘most influential teacher’ of the student. How cool is that??? Clint used some of the prize money to buy a digital camera for his class room and he wanted to try it out to get a feel for it so he brought it on this trip.
This is me taking pictures of Caelun…
…and then Clint taking pictures of me taking pictures of Caelun.
It was a nice day and a nice garden. It was a lovely way to spend a summer afternoon.
