My dear daughter turned 13- Yes we officially have a teenager in the house. For her party she wanted pizza and “any old cake from Great Day” good enough. She sure made it easy on her step-mom. We also had the favorite fruit dip that is “so good it cures cancer”according to my dear daughter. Abbi actually made that herself. We had strawberries from the garden. Grandma and Grandpa Medford also brought her favorite – fresh pineapple. We got out her birthday table cloth and up dated it with more drawings, and her rat Louie even joined the festivities for a bit. It was supposed to be a pool party in the new pool but it was a bit chilly. The 66 degree water didn’t completely deter the kids and Abbi and Levi in a contest of who is the coolest- literally-jumped in with all of their clothes on. We got her a new 18 speed bike that she picked out. All in all it was a nice day and our wonderful girl hit a mile stone. Yeah for the teens!
The dyslexic step-mom put on the candles-Abbi caught it and we fixed it later.
Everybody had a good time eating pizza and I didn’t even have to make it!
Hmmm… should we leave the cake that close to the edge of the table with the 2 year old brother in the area? Grandma Mary saved the day on that one.
Louie came out to meet the crowd.
Debbie, Blake and Billy had a good time hanging out.
Dawn and Grandpa Medford give some smiles.
Abbi got a water gun as a present- look out world!
Time to blow out the candles- notice the 1 is now facing the correct direction- not that I would know.
With some help from Louie she gets them blown out.
Grandma Amy and Grandpa Jerry check out the new bike.
pretty snazzy in it’s acid green glory
Grandma Medford joins the party.
Levi and Bryar join the party.
“I double dog dare you…”
… and in they go with all their clothes on.
Clint, Brien, Stacey, and I just shook our heads- goofy kids.
Bryar, Billy, and Blake opt for suits.
Toooo cold for the Cae-Cae.
Cool rainbow toes on the 13 year old- woot!
