We had to reschedule this Christmas several times. It was supposed to be with Clint’s dad, step-mom and their side. Unfortunately Clint’s dad has been in and out of the hospital for most of the fall and into the Christmas season. They spent most of Christmas day in the hospital, which is no fun. We planned to have them over for Christmas day- then the day after Christmas, then the Sunday after. We offered to come to them if it would make it easier. That Sunday Floyd was still feeling really bad. He wasn’t up to company so Mary and her mom Florence came to us with out him. Mary was so busy taking care of Floyd she didn’t really get much of a Christmas herself. She said she didn’t put up any decorations or a tree. We tried to make it joyous and festive. The kids certainly did their part. Our dear friend Brent Anthony stopped in so it was busy and fun all around. I missed pictures of Clint’s wonderful new tool box. After dinner and presents Cae took a nap and Abbi, Grandma Mary, and Florence The Great went to see a movie- Seven Pounds. Abbi says it is really good but very sad for those looking for a movie review. They came back for coffee, pie, and some picture copying and printing.
Abbi sets a lovely table.
