We had our first forensics tournament traveling to Mattawan HS this past Saturday. 231 miles, 4 cups of coffee, 15 hours, and 3 trophies later we we returned home tired but pleased with our performance. I was joking with a friend the other day that my life has 2 seasons- speech activities and house construction. We even had reasonably good weather for the driving and the kids all worked really hard.
It is always exciting when you see your name and school code on one of those Final round break posters. Our school code was N.
