Memorial weekend and Grace’s birthday at the lake.

This has become our regular memorial weekend thing.  Our friends Dan and Amy have a cottage and they open it for the season Memorial weekend. In addition we celebrate their daughter Grace’s birthday.  The water was a bit chilly for me but the kids enjoyed it.  The hot tub… well that is a different story.

Our little guy chasing a ball half as big as him.  Notice daddy has a firm grip as the boy looks longingly at the water.

My dear daughter dyed part of the back of her hair pink.  It has started to fade but you can see it some when it got wet.

Looks like you all had so much fun- even if the water isn't that warm yet. I know what you mean about restraining little ones around water. Ever since we started tot swimming lessons, my son wants to jump right in- no matter how deep the water is- scary!
