Rover goes to the McKee Botanical Gardens

Any time we travel Clint and I love to go to the areas botanic gardens.  He is a science teacher and loves all the biology connections- as do I.  We are both gardeners and this gives us ideas for our own gardens.  I am an art lover and invariably botanic gardens incorporate sculpture and art. It also has the sun and green I crave and shade for the pigmentally challenged Irish hubby. We bot like the opportunity to play with our camera as well and we usually have lots of subject matter at a garden. When Abbi is with us she enjoys the wildlife- lizards and such.  Caelun likes to be able to run and he can do that in a controlled setting at a botanic garden. It is one of our favorite places to visit and the McKee Botanic Garden in south-central Florida didn’t disappoint. Rover seemed to enjoy it as well. Sit back and we will give you a private Conley tour.

This banyan tree tipped over during hurricane Wilma.  They lifted it back up with a crane and stabilized it with rods into the ground.
